Become a Partner

With your help, LWB can help bring the gift of literacy to adults and children in the developing world.

Join us as we partner with local community volunteers to adapt and implement successful literacy programs.

All funds donated now will be used to build the infrastructure of LWB, to continue to build partnerships locally and in Belize, and to prepare for the training and placement of our first cohort of Literacy Ambassadors in 2012/13.

Literacy Without Borders is a federally-incorporated charitable organization.  At present, LWB is an official project of the Edmonton Rotary Club.  Donations to Literacy Without Borders may be made payable to the Edmonton Rotary Club/Literacy Without Borders.  All donors will receive a tax receipt from the Rotary Club of Edmonton. Please contact us if you are interested in donating.

Donation Ideas:

  • $10,000: Supports a Literacy Ambassador’s in-country placement for a year
  • $5,000: Sponsors the LWB Training Institute
  • $2,500: Funds a Literacy Ambassador’s travel costs
  • $1,000: Funds a Literacy Ambassador’s training costs or
  • $500: Sponsors a community literacy program in Belize
  • $250: Funds a Literacy Ambassador’s course materials
  • $100: Provides food for an 8-wk Rhymes that Bind or English as a Second Language Program
